Application
The circometer is used to precisely measure the average diameter of a round workpiece, especially for plastic pipes and fittings. Also we can supply with a ruler for reading both diameter and perimeter. It is made of a flexible stainless steel or spring steel, the numbers are engraved on the steel, which will not disappear during usage. The circometer consists of main ruler and secondary ruler, the graduation value of the main ruler is 0.5 mm, and the graduation value of the secondary ruler is 0.02 mm.
Features
Thin steel band ensures high accuracy, long life and less internal stress
High precision: as the diameter is got by the perimeter, the measure result is 1/π of the producing reticle error. Therefore its precision is higher than vernier in measuring large diameter beyondφ500mm. This advantage is highlighted above φ1000mm.
3. Measuring a large or quite large diameter can be easily conducted once with accessories (magnetic bridges) by a single person. 4. Distortion of the thin workpiece can be avoided.
